We are so blessed to know the Lord. However, there are people in the world who have never heard his name! That is why God has called us all to be missionaries. We offer many opportunities for people of all ages to embrace their calling as ministers of reconciliation.
Camp Of The Hills - Central Church of Christ has been participating in Camp of The Hills' mission to reach at-risk youth for more than a decade.
The congregation has supported COTH in many ways through the Central youth group. Central's young people have been spending a week doing volunteer work projects for more than 15 years. During the week, kids from Central serve three meals a day to campers, helping prepare the meals and cleaning up after them. The youth group also performs duties such as grounds maintenance, helping with building projects and laundry duties. Each year before the youth group heads to camp, Central members contribute food and other items to help the nonprofit group operate.
Several young people from Central have given multiple summers to volunteer at COTH as full-time counselors and administrators.
